1st Italy Virtual Book Fair will honours to Dante Alighieri 700

The legacy of Dante Alighieri, "the great poet" of Italy, is still more than ever present in world
culture nowadays and it'll be the first Italian Virtual Fair wich honours to him on the occasion of
the seventh centenary of his death.
The event will take place on March 5 to 21 will feature various presentations by famous
authors across the European and American continent. Each activity will take place virtually in
our official Facebook account.
For this very special occasion, the main event is the commemorative tribute to Dante Alighieri,
which will be directed by the author Elisabetta Bagli. There will also be many book
presentations with world-famous authors such as Federico Moccia, author of best sellers such
as "Three meters above the sky" and "I Want You" who will be interviewed by the journalist
and writer Michela Zanarella and the author Elisabetta Bagli.
Also special guests will be present such as Alfredo Palacio, former president of Ecuador and,
from Mexico, María Antonieta de la Nieves, known as La Chilindrina.
MAIN EVENT: Elisabetta Bagli will present the tribute to Dante Alighieri "The love that moves
the sun and the other stars". In the presentation she will be followed by Claudia Piccinno,
Gianpaolo Mastropasqua, Giuseppe Vetromile, Grazia Procino and Paola Casulli. Saturday 13
March at 18:00 (Italian time).
READINGS: Cantos V and XXVI of the Inferno of the Divine Comedy by the actor Fabio
Bussotti on the event "Amor ch'a nullo amato, amar perdona", Friday 12 March at 20.00
(Italian time), presented by the author Elisabetta Baglii.

MORE ABOUT ITALY VIRTUAL BOOK FAIR
Virtual Book Fair was cretaed by peruvian co-founders and entrepreneurs Alan Morales and
César Salvatierra. They kicked off this project in July 2020 with 1st Peru Virtual Book Fair.
Following the same theme that will be held today in Italy, that event had an excellent response
among the public at national and international level.
Thanks to that success months after the first fair, this model of virtual presentations spread
across much of Latin America, and exhibitions were held in Mexico, Colombia and Argentina.
The most recent and very successful result of this Fair model took place a month ago with the
Spain Book Fair which also marked its entry into the European market.
Certainly this kind of event promotes reading between different generations an also connect
authors and regular readers around the world.
